Music

Something that everyone has in common, music. Of course that's the only thing, the word music. Then in music there are a hell of a lot of divisions and sub-divisions and divisions in sub-divisions and so on. Well my taste in music is very pop, r&b, and soul orientated. But I just like songs that sound great, DUH!

The way I've listed the artists are not in any particular order, so don't think that that's the way I like them or whatever.

Backstreet Boys. I really love them man. They're my favourite band or group. They just rule!!!! I don't really know what to say, go to my Backstreet Boys site, there I've got lots of stuff on them. It's a whole thing on them actually. Just go there if you also like the Backstreet Boys!!!

I don't really pay much attention to much of Celine Dione's songs. I've heard a few but I'm not really such a big fan. But I really like the song My Heart Will Go On, even if it wasn't the theme song for Titanic I still would have liked it. It's a very good tune you know, I really like it. So I got the single, it also has another song on it Because You Loved Me.

Ok, I must admit that I didn't even know that they existed. I saw their video for All Cried Out and I was like hey that's a good song! So then I thought about getting the single but I wasn't too sure about it and so I did. It's a really good song, the other song on the single isn't as good but then it's a remix of Head Over Heels. Maybe the original sounds better.

Solid Harmony is another all-girl group. I don't know if they have gone to the States or Canada yet but they are here in Europe and they're not doing too bad but like they aren't doing super good either. They've already released 2 singles and they don't have an album yet just kind of like All Saints. They started off with just their fist single then they released their second single and at the same time put out an album. I don't care too much about them and I think that they're first song is much better than their second. I don't remember the name of their first song but their second one is Never Ever.

I liked the songs that they had released. I Want You, To The Moon And Back, Truly Madly Deeply, very good songs I must add. I think that the To The Moon and Back one is an old song, resung maybe? I don't know but I remember hearing those words before and that tune. I don't know maybe I'm just hallucinating.
Will Smith is the coolest guy man, he's funny, has a girlfriend or wife? And gonna have 2 kids, he just made really big bucks with Men In Black and now he's got his own album and doing pretty well here in Europé anyways. So what more can someone ask? A lot of people don't like Will Smith, I have no idea why. I like what he has to offer, it's a nice tune with some rapping. It's not like that hard core stuff, like Wu-Tang. I don't like their stuff, it doesn't really have a tune to it, I know that most people would say that what they rap about is very meaningful but the thing is. What does violence have to do with it? Will Smith atleast doesn't believe in that stuff and that's another thing that I find cool about him. Why can't we all just get along?!!!

Green Day is such a funny group, they're videos are quite interesting to watch. I really like one of their more recent releases, quite good. My cousin has their cd, but I don't like them enough to buy their cd. I don't even really like the song that much to buy the single, since my cousin has it what's the use?
Mariah Carey is definitely a cool singer, the girl whom can sing the most octaves. That's just great. I have Daydream and Butterfly, and they're both pretty good. It wasn't a waste of money. You know how sometimes a lot of the songs on any cd they all seem to sound the same? Well I guess you can say that about Mariah Carey's singing, she sings the same sort of stuff they seem to all sound the same, but not really. She's a great singer and that's all that matters.

I like Boyz II Men, they're a really good boy group. They're the only boy group who doesn't get made fun of, isn't that strange? It's kind of like, why don't they get made fun of? While EVERY other group does? And then all-girl groups don't get that badly made fun of than the all-guy groups. Kinda strange if you ask me. But anyways back to Boyz II Men, they really can sing man. I have their Evolution cd, it's really good. I would say that it's worth it. I really like their Song for Mamma song. It's really good, that's their new release no?

Gary Barlow, original Take That member, I think that everyone knows that already but still if anyone doesn't know that I'm just telling you now. I don't know but I don't really like any of his songs that he's released. He seems to be doing pretty good though, even though he's not really like in hot demand.
Skunk Anansie is such a cool band. I really like some of their songs, even though I can't name any of them at the moment I do like them! They sang at the MTV music awards, if anyone watched that I like that song that they sung. It was very good. They didn't seem to be too big in Canada when I was still there. I don't know about now, maybe someone can tell or update me on some stuff eh.
